iPad Air, the press says, thin, but not fragile!

iPad Air

A A7 processor, a weight loss of 20% and a faster WiFi iPad ... The fifth generation has arrived and seems to promise bells and whistles ... but it seems so fragile in our (admittedly clumsy ) hands ... These new humbuckers will they improve the sound quality ? What about the camera? Here are the relevant provisions of the U.S. trade press reactions.Engadget :

" While Apple has done an impressive job slimming tablet and causing him to lose 20%, the product is not low end, it's an Apple device , after all. Naturally iOS7 looks really great on this screen Retina , but you already knew ?

What is truly remarkable here , however, is how things slip through the inclusion of the A7 processor. You really notice the speed when launching applications like iMovie , which starts in an instant. This goes along with the new free version of iLife . "
The Verge :

" Long story short : it looks like a great ipad mini ( but not much ) , and it is mostly a very good thing. The device is really beautiful, with a much slimmer profile and sharper edges . The 9.7-inch device is held in much better hands , but it's certainly not as mobile , portable, the iPad mini , which now has a Retina display.

It goes fast , it is not significantly different from the iPhone 5S with the A7 . Even despite some surprising gaps , as TouchID digital fingerprint sensor , this device deserves a new name as it appears completely different from the iPad. "
CNET :

"The design of a tablet plays a crucial role in the speed with which the arms get tired holding it. In this update , Apple has managed to reduce the weight of the material by a third, an impressive feat that you are likely to find just because you barely notice the device. In fact, even if we know the specs , nothing can prepare you for the lightness and thinness of this device .

The weight makes it much easier to hold with one hand, and the sleek bezel makes the screen absolutely fascinating. Our first impression : Air iPad is like the iPhone 5S , refined, reduced, and generally improved . "
Slashgear :

" It's the little details that you notice after a while , though. As the meeting glass, frame and user interface, for example, or the physical buttons extra dishes and the lock switch .

Unfortunately there is no built-in TouchID Touch the home button , but we can hold the iPad Air longer since his weight was drastically reduced compared to the old model. "
Pocket Lint :

"Of course, the 9.7-inch Retina display support , as it does for the iPhone 5S launched in September . It is for Apple not to neglect the processor speed or technical specifications , but simply to give all the power they can to the device.

This is a nice update that happera many people, but no new killer feature that you could show your friends when they come for a cup of tea. "
